It's All About Family
The weekend was filled with family activities, beginning with my nephew Jason's wedding dinner Friday night. This is the entire family of my brother J Dee and his wife Patti. They're family has grown in their 14 years of marriage and they're more in love then they were then and are a good example to their children and grandchildren. (click on photos to EMBIGGEN)
Little EliMy nephew Travis and niece Sara were there and I was amazed at how much my little grandniece Eli had grown! Isn't she a doll?! Just when I thought she couldn't get cuter...
Daddy, Eli, and Mommy she's walking all over (and has been for two months) and is only 11 months old. She jabbers a lot and I think she'll be talking soon. All her cousins love to carry her around and play with her.
Amber, Grandpa, Grandma, Taelyn, and Jason
The wedding on Saturday was
Amber & Jasonbeautiful and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. Jason looked very handsome and Amber was truly a beautiful bride. Amber's little girl Taelyn is a doll and she dropped rose petals down the isle. They make such a cute little family and I'm sure they'll be happy for many years to come.
Elyssa and MonkeySunday was my niece Elyssa's 7th birthday! I can hardly believe she's 7 years old; it seems like only a short while, she was struggling to learn to walk. She loves school and is doing well in her class. My sister Susie gave her a monkey and she had so much fun with it. Susie and Elyssa were tossing it up in the air and to each other.
Elyssa tossing MonkeyElyssa was really hyper by the time it was time to go home... of course the sugar from the cake didn't help. Ah, the joys of sending hyper children home with their parents... particularly for Kathy since she was mean to me growing up. Pay backs!
I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family.
