Gee Whiz Thursday - Gee Whizzed Out
I'm feeling somewhat gee whizzed out, perhaps because there hasn't been much gee whiz activity in my life lately (I'll let you decide what that means). I took my Geology final Monday and I won't know my score until Sunday or perhaps not until next Wednesday when grades are released. My teacher hasn't even graded my last field trip report yet. However, he told me that my report on Ogden Canyon and the earthquake evidence was the best and most complete report he's graded. That's a pretty big gee whiz, even if I do say so myself!
Tuesday I woke up with a migraine and felt like poo. This is usually the result of so much stress and it always hits me after the happiness is over.
Not much exciting yesterday; I worked and went to physical therapy. Oh wait - the temp didn't get over 89F, then last night we had thunderstorms, which I LOVE. We've had some off and on all week but nothing but sprinkles (at least where I am!), but last night it actually rained for a few minutes. I love the smell of the rainstorm. Ahhhh. I went outside after the storm to take photos of the raindrops on the flowers. Gee whiz, I love to do that.
Today, I have my Remicade treatment then I finally made an appointment with my foot doc, which I've put off for months. The neuromas aren't totally gone so I need more alcohol injections and then the foot I broke last December still isn't liking me so I'll go see what's going on with that but I hope it's only Rheumatoid Arthritis. Gee whiz, it's pretty sad when I wish that, huh? If it's not, I will probably have to have surgery.

Thunderstorms and the aroma after a good rain - that's pretty magnificent stuff! I enjoy both of them, too. :)

Gee whiz - I hate that you had a migraine. I'm never surprised at your good grades; you put so much of yourself into everything you do, and you do a great job! My gee whiz, the last eye surgery is over and I can see again!! woohoo!! Take care..
Good luck with the test and the Dr`s. While I hope you won`t need a second foot op, I also hope it isn`t Arthritis as that usually remains for life. Knowing you love the rain and most arthritis hates the dampness of the rain, it could ruin that enjoyment for you.
My Gee Whiz is I am still kicking myself for forgetting where I put some items for safe keeping.

All I have to say is you might want to do something about the lack of the Gee-Whiz activity---yeah you might feel so much better when you return to that activity---I bet the doctor might even order it--
Never fret over your scores because you did the very best you could and that is all anyone can do---and well I do your best is right up near the top.

My gee whiz is awful. Yesterday was my mom's birthday and I forgot to call her and wish her a happy birthday... I totally forgot about it. *sigh* Her birthday card got there yesterday, though. *hanging my head in shame*

Glad your doctor's visit was to your liking although I am still feeling the sympathetic pain of those shots to come. Just wait till I tell Julia. She better not ever whine about a shot again.

let's see, gee whiz, i am getting around to my blogroll which (my bad) i have been unable to get through. i am sorting out what i wanna be when i grow up. all in all, not too much to tell. we are planning a yard sale (which if you ever had one is lots of work) for next saturday. wanna to simplify and this is a way i can do it.
i am on a medical leave of absense from work now, too much office politics to go into here in a commentary. suffice to say head set hell is NOT where i want to retire from now.

I haven't been having many Gee Whiz moments either. It's been doctor/ reading/nagging Alison. Sometimes life is just blah. Great job on the report. Hope the foot is OK. I have arthritis in my feet too, and it isn't very pleasant during summer when I don't wear my orthotics very regularly.
