heh. I thought those were blackberries (I grew up hearing them called dewberries) and was thinking those aren't ready yet! But since they are raspberries, well that's a different story.
These are a specialty of my area--actually all berries.College Daughter prefers raspberries, but Younger Daughter and I are blueberry fanatics. Right now, it's the tail end of raspberry season and near the beginning of blueberries. From mid-August into September, we'll walk along the road picking blackberries. Yummy.
Those raspberries sure brought back some memories of when I was a kid helping ,my Aunt pick them. Then she always fixed a dish of them with some mulk for us. Hadn`t thought of that in years. Thanks for the memories.
