Urgent Request
Monica left a voicemail for me late last night and I just woke up (2:45 am) to my phone beeping. She said her daughter, Julia's friend Daphne was hit by a car last night and they're not sure if she'll make it or not. Monica asked that everyone keeps Daphne in your thoughts and prayers, as well as Julia. I'm sure Monica could use some too.

Oh wow....
Daphne was airlifted to Baylor in Dallas with a head injury at 1 this morning. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Her younger sister (14) came home with us.
I spoke with her mother a bit ago. She has a skull fracture which is what caused the bleeding in her ear. She'll be there another day or two at least. Thank you again for posting with me, Karen. Julia literally thought her friend had died before her eyes and while she's still in guarded condition, she's so very lucky.
