Wish List
Here are three items that are HUGE on my wish list right now.
I really really really want them. I'm thinking I really really really need them. If I'm going to sell photos and get better at taking them, I need a really, really, really nice camera that is an SLR (shoots fast!) and a nicer printer than I currently have that is small in size but will print the larger photos (13x19).
The scanner would be icing on the cake, so to speak, but would actually be great to have since it scans film negatives. I have oodles of negatives but don't know where the pictures are. I also like the way this scanner opens; my current scanner opens on the width but this one opens on the length. Perfect for my desk set-up.
The question is... how would I find time for a second or third job to pay for these? Forget the G-Wiz fund (ohhh, did I really just stay that?) I need a Photography fund; that shows how bad I want these things. That and the fact that I keep the camera page open on my computer just so I can look at it. Ooooo.

Ah the joys of cameras. I need something to bring me joy...as the Fish informed me of his...not so single status today.
I'll be crying a river today somewhere.
(((HUGS)))
Where was ME on that list of your needs??? *gasp*
(heavens, don't rob the G-Whiz fund!)
Check out Willoughby's.You just may find this doable - and no taxes. Have a good weekend.
I hope you get them, Karen. :)
I'll do my part...I'm going over to see if you have coffee cups. I'm going to reward myself with one when Lent is over if you do. I want one my brother and sons will leave alone. I want one with a saying maybe like: I like my coffee like my men: STRONG!
Oh well. Here I go.
I'm going to get the rose coffee cup. Yep, I am.
I LOVE my messenger bag that I got on Cafe Press. I'm using it for my business. I'm staring at it right now! :) I LOVE IT
The E-510 specs looks awesome. I have an idea. I will email you.
*BIG HUGS*
Wow Karen those are awesome choices (checked that Willoughby's link).... Hope you get them some day sooner than later.
I think photography is a wonderful art form and you are definitely great at it.
Could you ask for any of it as a group birthday/Christmas gift? That's what I would do if I wanted it enough.
I'm longing for a better camera, partly so I can give Son 1 mine. Top of my wishlist though is a scanner that could scan in slides. My parents had a lot of their photos developed as slides when we were kids, and I'd like to be able to scan them onto dvds, possibly with captions and music. Otherwise they'll never get seen by my boys' generation.

I thought the comment was cute! Good luck with your wish list.
been lurking. thanks for coming over. those cameras sure are pretty. i have always dreamed of having a really 'good' camera. nothing wrong with the ones i have had, but, ya know what i mean. best of luck. perhaps you will need to put a link for donations on your side bar...i am still pondering whether or not to put one on mine for a shed.:) have a good weekend.
Where there is a will there is a way and the power of positive thinking can ,make wishes come true. Hugsssssss :)
Good luck! My photography fund has just provided me with a 60mm macro lens :D
I want a better camera and scanner too Karen! You know how I love taking pictures too. I really hope you get yours and I'm sure you will! Hugs!
Hi Karen, I'm Baaack, having just attended the two weddings and watched the pro's at work my observation would be that Nikon seems to be the popular choice here in Oz.
Hope you can swing the one you choose anyway.
LOL...I thought about upgrading my camera from my tired old Canon Sureshot 35mm; then again, why get a pricey digital that's going to get caught in a tornadic suck zone ;-)
wow hope you get them all. great camera :)
hmmmm...very interesting!
Thanks google
