Little Miss Eli
I had a special Sunday this past weekend, my sister Susie and I drove to Salt Lake to visit our nephew Travis, his wife Sara, and their sweet baby, Eli. Aren't they a cute family? I'm so proud of Travis; he's a good daddy and Sara is a natural mommy.

This was the first time Susie saw Eli and she was so pleased.

Eli was a little fussy when we arrived and after Susie held her for a few minutes so she handed Eli to me and she calmed right down and fell asleep. Just like the touch I used to have on Travis when he was a baby. However, when Susie held Eli later, she didn't fuss so perhaps it was a fluke... nah, it's my magic touch. ;-)
We stayed there quite a while and visited about practical jokes I used to play (Travis and his brother Adam inherited my practical joking ways and I could not be more proud) and were in awe of little Eli. She goes in for surgery on Thursday to remove the fibrous cyst that is connected to her spine. She is definitely in good hands but if you would keep her in your thoughts and/or prayers, we would appreciate it!
